We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join an international manufacturer in Stroud. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that can boast a great reputation and a low staff turnover.

As a CNC Machinist you will:

• Set and operate the CNC machines in line with the delivery requirements of the business, ensuring that products are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced on time.

• Comply with Company's Health and Safety policies and procedures.

• Take responsibility for the quality and inspection of your own work and take ownership for cleaning and de-burring of the parts.​​
• Set the machines using the set-up sheets, tooling/fixtures and Edgecam programmes provided by the Production Engineering Department.
• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​
• Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance to ensure the cycle time meets the estimated costed time.

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Carry out in cycle inspection of the parts produced, using micrometres, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.

• Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite DDS machinist during shift handover.​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Perform any other duty as requested by the Production Team Leaders or Machine Shop Chargehands to ensure the objectives of the company and the expectations of the customer are met.
